Symbio Alliance conducts analysis of fruit and vegetables, fresh and packaged product from growers, packhouses, markets and processors. This testing is designed for each customer to comply with quality standards and legislation set down by specific industry groups and Maximum Residue Limits (MRL) to meet domestic and export requirements.
Testing available for horticultural industries includes:
Chemistry - complete range of chemical analysis such as nutritional composition, vitamins, trace elements and heavy metals.
Residue - Extensive range of pesticides and environmental contaminants such as organochlorines, organophosphates, synthetic pyrethroids, herbicides, fungicides, carbamates and acaricides. Pesticide formulation in fruit dip wash also available.
Microbiology - for pathogens and food spoilage organisms.
